We give thanks to Almighty God for His grace, protection and guidance throughout the term. We also express our sincere appreciation to ouresteemed parents and guardians for their continued support, cooperation and commitmentto the education and overall development of their children.The term has been productive and eventful, filled with academic activities, student engagements and commendable achievements. We are proud of the dedication and hard work demonstrated by both our students and staff throughout the term. 

1. ACADEMIC AFFAIRS
1.1 End-of-Term Examinations All students have successfully completed their end-of-term examinations. Marking, grading and collation of results are currently ongoing, and results will be released accordingly.

1.2 Open Day – 12th March, 2026
The school held its Open Day on 12th March, 2026, providing parents and guardians the opportunity to interact with teachers and discuss their children's academic progress and overall performance. We sincerely appreciate the parents who took time out to attend and actively engage with the teachers. Your presence and contributions greatly support the academic growth and development of our students.

1.3 Holiday Assignments
Students have been given holiday assignments to reinforce learning and strengthen academic retention. Parents and guardians are encouraged to ensure that their children complete all assigned tasks before resumption.

2. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES & STUDENTS' ENGAGEMENTS
2.1 Mathematics & Chess Competition
Our students participated in a Mathematics and Chess Competition, where they displayed outstanding brilliance, strategy and composure. We are pleased to announce that our students returned with medals, bringing honour and recognition to the school. We commend the students and their teachers for this remarkable achievement.

2.2 Teenagers Ablaze Conference – 7th March, 2026
Higher Heights College was honoured to participate in the Teenagers Ablaze Conference (TAC) held at Shanahan Hall, Holy Trinity Basilica, Onitsha.
During the conference, various facilitators shared valuable insights with our students on the importance of making intentional academic and life decisions using their God-given talents. They were also guided on how to resist societal pressures and remain focused on their purpose and
personal growth. It was indeed an enlightening and inspiring experience for our students.

2.3 Cooking and Baking Practicals
As part of our practical learning programme, students participated in cooking and baking sessions where they prepared a variety of food items including ice cream, meat pie, fish roll, chicken tacos and spaghetti. The practical sessions provided students with the opportunity to demonstrate teamwork, creativity and basic culinary skills while working collaboratively with their peers. The activity was both educational and engaging, helping to build confidence and develop valuable life skills among the students. We sincerely appreciate our parents and guardians for providing the opportunity and financial support that made these practical sessions possible.

2.4 Other Student Activities
Throughout the term, students also participated in a variety of activities designed to promote teamwork, creativity, leadership and physical development. These engagements contribute greatly to the holistic development of our learners.

3. DISCIPLINE & SECURITY NOTICE
The safety and security of our students remain a top priority. Students are not permitted to wait for their parents or guardians outside the school premises after school hours. All students must remain within the school compound until they are picked up. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to ensure prompt pickup of their children and to cooperate fully with the school in maintaining this important safety measure. Students who fail to comply with this directive will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.

4. RESUMPTION FOR NEXT TERM
The next term will commence on 28th April, 2026. Students are expected to resume punctually and fully prepared for academic activities. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for effective learning and academic success.

5. HEALTH AND SAFETY TIPS 
With the rise in heat stress across the country, parents are advised to encourage their children to drink plenty of water to maintain proper hydration. Homes should be properly ventilated by opening windows in the morning for good air circulation. Adequate rest and healthy feeding are also important during this period. Parents are encouraged to replace worn-out uniforms, ties, shoes and school materials before resumption to ensure that students return well prepared for the new term.

6. APPRECIATION
We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and support of our parents and guardians throughout the term. Your partnership with the school continues to play a vital role in the academic and moral development of our students. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and care of your children. We wish all our families a peaceful, restful and refreshing Easter holiday and we look forward to welcoming our students back for another productive and successful term.
